windows firewall can not be turned off
i recently got an xbox 360 but when i was trying to connext 2 my pc it doesnt allow me 2 share my files, wat can i do turn off my firewall

Are you connecting your Xbox360 to your PC to get Internet Access? You would need two NICs and I believe XP Pro for that. Then you would need to configure the PC for ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). It would then assign a private class C address to your Xbox. (192.168.0.x)
If you are having trouble turning off your firewall, you could try stopping the service. I wouldn't recommend killing the firewall if you aren't behind a NAT device though. |
