I need a new internet security suite. I would appreciate suggestions and please tell me why don't just throw out a name. Keep in mind why I want to dump Zone Alarm.

Windows Live! Messenger and ZA have had over six months to fix the problems with WLM and IM security. Not only have they not fixed it there is no progress report.

Punkbuster does not update properly on BF2142 so I have to run it every day to be sure i have the latest version in order to play Battlefield 2142.

I have bad experiences with Norton taking up system resources and andhaving too many processes some of which are unnecessary. I am thinking about Bit Defender.

No suggestions eh? I tried Kaspersky Internet Security Suite and I cannot even play BF2142 for longer than two minutes now but WLM works fine. Again BF2142 is fine when Kaspersky is completely shut down. Turning off the firewall (anti hacker) does not allow game to operate I have to shut down the entire suite.

I would appreciate any help you can offer.

I would try Norton Internet Security 2007. It is way better than the previous version and way better than any other security suite. It cuts back on the system bloating older versions caused, and offers excellent firewall protection and great antivirus & antispyware protection. I would give it a go!
