Wink hey "experts" newbie to this section

i have a netgear router rp614v2. this model i believe has built in firewall?? I need to know if it attempts to manage or restrict outbound connections?? go easy please im computer illiterate.

Angry what a dummy i am

sorry guys i called a local store with very limited knowledge they said it only blocks ports.(ill have to learn more about this). I guess my next issue is setting it up properly. My friend and i tried to help a game called enemy territory get into my computer, so i think we bloched things up . I have been here before just in hjt log post. i have been computing with tetonbob and reid also glaswegian who sent me here. could you help me configure router possiby.Please thankyou oh yeah im not worried about game just router basic set up for now.

If you want to get back to factory defaults, just hold the reset button for 10 seconds.

Most SOHO routers, that one included, don't have any outbound firewall capability.
