vpn help

Can anyone tell me what to use for my netgear vpn router. I do a lot of cad design work from home and the office and would like a way to access my files at work and not have to bring them home on a thumb drive. Most of my work is done at night and this would really help. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Well if you just want access to your files, you could setup a simple FTP server on your machine.

Or if you want access to see your desktop and use your computer from anywhere in the World, you can use UltraVNC. It also has file transfer capability but lets you use your computer just like you were sitting in front of it.
