help configuring router for a dynamic IP webserver

I have a netcomm NB5 adsl/2 router modem and need some help to configure its port forwarding rules in order to be able to run my webserver from a dynamic IP address. I have tried their documentation but as is usual it seems to be a lot of gobbledy-gook to me ... HELP!! lol

I don't mean to change the subject, but why do you want your webserver to have a dynamic IP address?

You might want to look into DynDNS.com if you have a dynamic IP.

As for port forwarding, that is pretty basic on any router. If you are running a web server, then you will want to open port 80 on the router, and have it direct the traffic to the internal IP of the computer that is running the web server.

I downloaded your manual, and you should read the section on "Advanced Port Forwarding: Creating Custom Rules". This small section of the manual is really the only part you should be concerned with.

I also found this guide that should help you a lot.
