Intranet Connection Problem

1. Background - a.) I use a Motorola Cable Modem (SB5100) to connect to the internet. b.) I have two computers on my home network that connect through a Linksys Router(BEFSR81). c.)Both computers are running XP Home Edition SP2.
2. Problem – When I attempt to initiate a connection to my company intranet using Nortel VPN Client (V04_86.102) the connection fails. The only way I can connect to my company intranet is by by-passing the router and connecting one computer directly to the cable modem.

Have you checked the Linksys setup to make sure that the VPN pass-through is enabled? If it isn't, that will cause the problem. I connect to one of my consulting clients using the Nortel VPN Client, and that's all I had to do.
