Please Help Mac/WIN XP conflicts
HI, i have just moved house, i am living with one other person using Win XP and two using MAC OSX 10, We have an internet connection that is routed using the mac Base Station, we have found a way to open ports for the mac users bit torrent apps (6881 and 6969) but if you open a port for the pc it closes it insted. I cant send emails, the port is open (25) but it just wont send, also i am getting a terrible connection generally, i often have to refresh my web page because it says it is unavailable.
Please help i am a PC user through and through and if i was using a standar router i would be fine but i dont understand mac's poor attempts at cross platform peripherals. Desperately Requestful Glenn |
