accessing webserver from internet

I'm running apache on a machine on my LAN. I've opened the ports on the router and the firewall and can get to the machine locally. Also, any computer that's sitting on my local network can access the page via the IP of the router (which forwards the request to the local machine). So effectively, I can go out to the internet, come back, and access the page. I thought it was working fine, but I found out that anyone who isn't on my network can't access the page. It refuses the connection and times out on them. Does anyone have any suggestions, help, anything?

You obviously need to open router port 80 for the IP address of the webserver if you want external requests to reach it.
