DHCP windows 2000 advanced server

hi i have a problem with DHCP on a server running windows 2000 advanced server. I think i have installed it properly but it keeps assigning the same ip addresses to different computers causing ip conflict. Sometimes it works ok for a while, i dont know what can be wrong. the server is installed as a stand-alone server.

Please help!!!

Did you set up a address pool? Also check the client computers to make sure DHCP is enabled

I did set up an address pool, and the clients have dhcp enabled, the server just keeps assigning already assigned addresses

It sounds like you have a rouge DHCP server somewhere else. Do you have a router?
