House mate using all the Bandwidth

Hi,

Quick question..
Is there anyway I can find out if my house mate is using all the bandwidth..
Since he arrived my connection to net has become maddeningly slow..

He's quite the computer boffin and I think he's tinkered with something or is just using excessively downloading.. is there anyway as the Bill payer i can limit his usage or monitor it..

Thanks

Re: House mate using all the Bandwidth

Buy a router that has real bandwidth management and limit him to 50% of the bandwidth. Second option is tell him to buy his own access since he's being a bandwidth hog.

Personally, I like the second option, I have no time for people like this.

Re: House mate using all the Bandwidth

in our network we have an agreement that if a user found to be a the cause of crashing the network we have the right to removed that guy from the network. Give him first a verbal notice similar to warning.
