Port Forwarding Issue :(
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to use CCProxy to host a proxy for my friend who is using Proxifier to connect. We currently have all of the right settings in the programs (we think). We get the error: 10061: Connecting Refused. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. Etc. etc. I have downloaded PFPortChecker and used many sites to check the Port and unfortunately all say that the port is closed and we have tried numerous ports to see if it works. My specs: Vista 64 Ultimate Firewall: None besides Router which has the port forwarding set up (Windows is turned off and AVG free is turned off to test this as well) I have tried hooking directly to Modem etc. and it still doesn't want to work.. My connection is Qwest DSL service and my modem is from them as well which I can get the model number if requested. My Router: http://kb.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id/2619 I have checked to make sure that my PCs network IP is the one listed in the port forwarding as well by checking through ipconfig as well as checking through the "Device manager" section in my router which lists all connected devices and it is the right IP for it. Any help would be appreciated if there are any ideas. |
