You need an elevated (Administrator) command prompt.

Start, All Programs, Accessories, RIGHT click Command prompt, select "Run as Administrator"

Re: DNS error:0x80070005 registration

Error 0x80070005 translates into "Access to Registry Denied." You are running an Anti-Virus, right? Ok.

(belkin default)-ping-time out
Means your PC is being blocked from your router, or your router is not available.

Have you checked the cables?
Have you rebooted your modem and router?
Can you access your router from a different computer?
Have you connected your Computer directly to the Modem?

Answers to these questions will determine the next step needed.
