Hi all, I have a bit of a situation. I purchased a US proxy and changed my original IP address to the US one. I'd like to return to my original IP address that I had with my ISP but don't want to phone the service provider and tell them I changed to a US proxy. Is there anyway I can do it myself?
I'm living in Europe and has a Windows Vista OS. I tried the CMD program with the ipconfig / release but it didn't work. I'd really appreciate any advice you might have, thanks. |

Re: How to return to original IP address
You could try looking through your "event viewer" and see if you had any network errors that logged the IP address of your network connection.
Have you tried setting your IP address to Automatic? Last edited by Suncoast; 08-31-2009 at 08:46 PM. |
