connecting two routers wirelessly
hi i'm new to this forum and this sounded like a good place to post this i have two routers a:
netgear rangemax adsl modem wireless router dg834pn and a quite old siemens gigaset se 587 wlan dsl i was wondering if i had the netgear already pre configured as the internet gateway and i had two laptops already connected wirelessly to the netgear and another desktop connected by a cat5 cable into the netgear would it be possible to connect a desktop in another room which doesn't have wireless capablility and i connected it (via a cat5 cable)to the siemens router would it be possible to connect the siemens to the netgear so that the desktop in the other room was directed to the netgear and could use the netgear to acess the internet? the desktop connected to the siemens is running ubuntu and the others are running windows vista home premuim by the way |
