How to use multi-static ip?

Greetings!!!
I am wondering why we are paying for the multi-static ip in our company for more than a year now coz i don't know how to use it. My former manager, who'd resigned now purchase it but never use it and never teach us how to use it. I would like know what really is its use and how to use it. Thanx!!!

Generally a company will have a static IP if it runs its own website. Another use is for using a VPN so employees can remotely access the company network.

How you use them is dependant on what you want to do with them.
