[newbie] small network ...feedback?
I've setup my home network as follows:
Laptop WinXP SP3 Intel Core 2 @ 2Ghz 2 Gb RAM Applications I use regularly. Desktop This is where I host my virtual machines on Virtual Server 2005 R2 Win XP 64 bit SP2 AMD Athlon 64 x2 Core Processor 4600+ @ 2.41 Ghz 4 Gb RAM LAN: 100Mbps NOTE: I usually connect from my laptop to the virtual machines over RDP through a program named Maxivista which enables the use of the monitor of another machine as a 2nd monitor. Do you think it is a "good setup"? |
