cant login to any sites
I installed a netgear wireless router to my computer, (still wire connected), I can get on the net fine, but when I try to log in to hotmail or ebay or any other site, the progress bar moves very slowly before saying page cannot be displayed. any help would be great

Hello...
When you try to log to Hotmail or E-Bay, you are switching from HTTP [port 80, un-secured port] to HTTPS [port 443, SSL or Secure Socket Layer] Maybe for some reason, router does not allow bypassing through this SSL... I think you can change this in Wireless router settings... maybe I am wrong, but it is worth to try it =) Keep us posted... |
