Cheap router, is it slowing my tower
I bought a Laptop and so bought a TP-LINK 54M wireless router. I have ultra high speed internet via cable but ever since the cable feeds trough the Router to my Desktop 'puter it seems to have slowed. Am i crazy or is this because of the cheap router?

Re: Cheap router, is it slowing my tower
The TP-Link routers may be cheap, but there's nothing wrong with them. We've installed a good number, and had no trouble.
When you say "ultra high speed internet" how high speed do you mean ? What speed actually comes in to you ? |

Re: Cheap router, is it slowing my tower
FWIW, I have a 20mbit connection, and I've had three different routers connected, all will easily support the full 20mbit bandwidth of the connection. Any modern router should be fine.
