Need help with proxies

Hello i had a question regarding using a proxy. I am currently trying out hide-my-ip. Normally when you use a proxy along with the ip address they give you a port # but with hide-my-ip they don't. Is there anyway that i can find out what the port number is? Thanks

since hide-my-ip is a scam .. i would say no.

Since you are not connecting to a proxy server on their network it does nothing.
It is just a stupid program that extracts money from unknowing people.

oh ok thanks for the heads up. Do you know of any other proxy servers either free or pay-for
