Verizon now needs high port numbers
Lately I have a new problem with Verizon. I use 8signs firewall and was able to surf normally using ports 1024 to 5000, now I cannot access the internet unless I give permissions to ports in the 50-60,000 range TCP and UDP.
IANA http://www.iana.org/assignments/port-numbers says: DYNAMIC AND/OR PRIVATE PORTS The Dynamic and/or Private Ports are those from 49152 through 65535 Whats going on here? what could have changed? Could windows updates have had anything to do with it? ![]() thoreau. |
