Router Issue
What Is wrong:
The internet connection drops for all computers on this router. System: MAC OS X Belkin F5D9230-4 Comcast internet Setup: The easy setup disk was not easy, It froze before It would finish. I then went into the router settings via safari, The only settings I remember changing are: Clone Computer's MAC address (It would not connect to the internet prior, but after the change it does) Security to WPA etc... I am hardwired to the belkin, another computer is connection to it wirelessly. when in that setup we get kicked at the same time. I am unsure if we get kicked from the router or the internet. Someone I work with thinks it has something to do with cloning the MAC address. Question is: How do I keep it connected to the internet without kicking the computers from the router? I am sure there is another post with this question, but I did not find any that was the same as mine. Thankyou |
