ARP problem???
Hello everyone,
I have a pc that is constantly scanning the network and sending ARP packets to IP that do not have a device on it. I also noticed that on the sniffer I am getting periodic full scans on the whole network. The problem pc is a laptop with Windows XP service pack 3. There is no software that should be doing any discovery. I have done some research and some state that there could be a memory leak. Any thoughts? or can this be turned off. Thanks Ilene
