Internet via a Intranet Server

Am using a Vista home premium and access the internet through an office server. The problem is that whenever am accessing the net, a pop up box interrupts the connection as well as any download am making until I ENTER. The pop up states:
" The proxy (my IP) is requesting a username and password. The site says: "Squid proxy-caching web server" ".
Once I have pressed ENTER (with name and password supplied) the net access continues otherwise the connection is terminated and of course the download.
Question: Is there a way to automatically acknowledge this request as this pop up is driving me crazy? Tx

Talk to your office IT staff. We don't assist in circumventing network security.
