[SOLVED] Mail sever W/ Dynamic IP address
Hi there,
At work, I have a Stand alone mail server, and i have my own domain. Last week, my Internet service was changed and now I get Dynamic IP instead of Static. Since that happened, I cant receive no mail. I know the Dynamic IP is the reason, but I believe there is a solution for this. Can anyone help? Much appreciation! |

Re: Mail sever W/ Dynamic IP address
Take a look at DynDNS, this is a service to map a static URL to a dynamic IP address.

Re: Mail sever W/ Dynamic IP address
No offense, but if you don't know anything about DNS, I'm not sure how you're going to accomplish this task!
You need to get your hands dirty to solve some issues. Did you read the DynDNS How To? It describes the options for MX forwarding.
