If any body know the answers of following questions pls reply
1. this is about jumbo frames. when we design a mac which use jumbo frames , need we expect that the phy should have any support for jumbo frames. 2. how the receiving mac can know that a jumbo frame is coming.3. what is this reconciliation layer actually doing? when we implement
mac, need we implement that layer. what if we connect GMII directly to MAC.

4. this is about auto negotiation. after autonegotiation both
communicating phys reach an agreement on mode and speed of trasfer. how
will the mac know the mode and speed of operation that the phy selected.
