Help=SETTINGS (TCP/IP???) dlinkDSL2540T
I just changed the settings of my modem/router:
http://www.dlink.com.my/products/?idproduct=164 (( http://global.dlink.com.sg/site_pdtp...L-2540T_ds.pdf )) with the help of: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers...2540T so I can use it, but it is still not working could you please help me in setting my xp sp2, so i can use it for 100%?????? THANK YOU VERY MUCH (I don't understand the networking thing at all!) respect... ![]() 1. in modem menu I see this=> DHCP: DHCP Clients List Number IP Address MAC Address 1 192.168.1.3 2. in LAN managmentis this: Management IP These are the IP settings of the LAN interface for the DSL-2540T. These setting may be referred to as Private settings. You may change the LAN IP address if needed. IP Address 192.168.1.1 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 3. DNS Configuration The DNS Configuration allows the user to set the configuration of DNS relay. DNS Relay Selection Use auto discovered DNS server only User Configuration: Preferred DNS Server 202.188.0.133 Alternate DNS Server 202.188.1.5 4. Virtual server LAN IP 192.168.1.3 (das ist die ich eingeben musste) 5. LAN Clients IP Address Host Name Static Addresses Delete IP Address Host Names Type 192.168.1.3 Static 6. DMZ DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) is used to allow a single computer on the LAN to be exposed to the Internet.
