How can I secure my Wireless Router?

I have a SMC 2804WBRP-G Broadband Router. Please tell me how can I make my Router secure? How can I make it password protect? Right now, it is wide open for the neighbors’ to use.
I do appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Kababi

Re: How can I secure my Wireless Router?

On the wireless configuration pages of the router's setup, configure encryption. I'd use WPA if possible, because that's the only really secure encryption method.

You'll need a boat or an airplane, you're in Hong Kong and he's on the East coast of the US.
