Error with forwarding ports
I have a zoom X5 router and i am trying to forward ports so i would be able to host games on warcraft 3, i've been on www.portforwarding.com (i think that's the site name) and i followed the instructions that it said you had to do, go to this link for reference.
http://portforward.com/english/route...rcraft_III.htm When i clicked save changes it said Error: Mandatory parameter not specified. Please help me figure this out |

Re: Error with forwarding ports
This error means a required field (or fields) that needs to be filled out when creating a rule was left blank. Make sure everything is filled out properly.

Re: Error with forwarding ports
Ok, but the problem is that I don't know what to put in... I put in every single thing it said you had to put in on the tutorial and i did this about six times, i checked that i had it correctly in alot of times and it still doesn't work.

Re: Error with forwarding ports
Yes but that's a generic tutorial. Your router might have more things to put in before it saves. Can you take a screenshot and post it here so we can see what you are trying to save?

Re: Error with forwarding ports
did you use the prntscrn button on the keyboard? if yes then that's like copy so open up paint in windows and then paste and save the file. Now you will be able to attach the file like in an email to your next forum post.

Re: Error with forwarding ports
Well it looks like you have the port numbers correct but you have to fill out the other fields too. Everyone of them. But I think this section your in is wrong. You should be in port forwarding not NAT which is different.
Try the 'port settings' menu beck at the advanced menu. Print a screenshot if ya can of that screen.

Re: Error with forwarding ports
Ok I just found what the problem you are having is.
on the tutorial: http://portforward.com/english/route...rcraft_III.htm On the first paragragh there's a step you have missed (me as well the first time!) where it asks you to enter your static IP address as well as telling you how to setup a static address. When you have setup the static address and put it into the text box on the web page, it adjusts the tutorial pictures and adds the extra stuff to enter. So in short, read the whole tutorial from top to bottom!
