[SOLVED] Router problems!

Okay, I'm trying to hook up an internet connection with a PC and a laptop through an OfficeConnect Dual Speed Switch 16. I've done it before and it worked fine but now I'm using a different PC and I'm only getting one computer to pick up the internet connection. If I plug in the laptop first, the laptop gets the connection and if I plug in the PC first, it gets the connection. But when I plug them both in at the same time, one of them randomly works and the other won't. I have no clue what I'm doing, really and it's frustrating. Please help.

Re: Router problems!

Let's see this for the working computer.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following command:

Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command.

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
