using a specific fake ip address?
Hello,
I am trying to test a feature on a web page that uses an IP lookup on its users. It will be used to target specific users from certain countries. For example, users from Honduras will get a popup, but users from Guatemala won't. Can anyone help me determine the best way to use manually set my computer to appear that it's from Honduras to test this feature? Thanks. |

Re: using a specific fake ip address?
Simple method would be to use a proxy server based in the country you want to appear from.
I'm sorry but I can't really give more information regarding this, as this can be construed as attempting to bypass network security, which is a violation of TSF Rules. What I can tell you is: Google is your friend. For now, I am going to close this thread. If you have any other questions which do not conflict with our rules, then please by all means ask away. |
