MS VPN not staying connected - Vonage
Hello! I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place.
I am unable to stay connected using MS VPN. I either can't get connected at all or I'll connect (some times after several tries) and then get kicked out after 2-3 minutes. The advice I got from Vonage was to either enable or disable (depending on my current settings) IPSec and PPTP. I seem to be able to disable IPSec with no additional problems. If I disable PPTP I can't connect at all. The vonage box is connected to the modem and then is forwarding to the router. PcAnywhere, Cisco VPN, RDP, it all works fine except MS VPN. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! Jamie |

Re: MS VPN not staying connected - Vonage
Jamie
Has this ever worked? I have a similar setup at home, use a different VPN provider and have no problems. The difference is that my router is connected to the modem and the Vonage box hangs off that. I have no problems with voice quality even with the VPN and other computers using the connection. You may want to give this a try. Bob |
