Thanks for taking the time to read this. Much appreciated.
Right then. On to a question I'm sure you guys get all too often, port forwarding... I have three Macs hooked up to a Linksys BEFSR41 router(Firmware is 2.00.1), they're all PPCs running Tiger(10.4.X), and my IP is obtained automatically. Whenever I set the router up for port forwarding for some IP address, let's say 192.168.1.108, for example, it will then re-assign my IP address to, say, 192.168.1.105. So I go ahead and set up the router to forward both of the IPs and it switches me yet again. This goes on ad nauseum, and I'm sure I'm managing to do something wrong, I'm just not quite sure what to look for, in that regard... Again, thanks for taking the time! |

Re: Linksys Router and Port Forwarding
Configure the machines with static IP addresses, they'll stop moving around.
