FTP help

I've set up my ftp and it works from outside and on the server, but i can't access it from computers in local network.
I can access it if I set internet explorer to work in active mode, but outside it works in passive mode and it works fine. I can access it and i can work with my program from outside that requires files being downloaded from ftp. But if i try to work with my program in local network or try to go to ftp://myftp.com it always says 426 connection closed; transfer aborted.
I tried connecting through cmd prompt with
ftp myftp.com
and i can connect and list files normaly.
I dunno what else to try. Permissions on ftp are fine, i'm using nat/basic firewall and ports are open, permissions of folders on server are fine too. It works fine from outside, but doesn't work normal in local network.

Please help!!!

Re: FTP help

The reason for that is that the router you're using doesn't have NAT loopback, so the public IP address isn't recognized. Use the internal computer name or IP address for internal connections or get a router with NAT loopback capability.

Re: FTP help

Using ip or computer address still shows the same error. It was working fine on our old server which was on Server 2000 locally and from outside. I've set everything the same as on old server, but it still doesn't work.
Any other suggestions?

Re: FTP help

Not offhand, I think I'd need to know more about the network specifics.
