[SOLVED] ipconfig is unresponsive
My ip address needs to be renewed, but whenever I enter in "ipconfig /all" or "ipconfig /release" or "ipconfig /renew" all I get is the message: "Windows IP Configuration". No confirmation of the command, no error saying I cannot, nothing. What should I do?

Re: ipconfig is unresponsive
Let's try to use the Repair function, and see how that goes.
Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections (classic view), or Network and Internet Connections to Network Connections (category view). Highlight the connection which requires the repair, right-click and select Repair. Let us know if the repair worked. If it didn't, please give the error it spits out. |
