Need Help in Cisco..........

Hi All

I have a small issue. Any body can help me will be appreciated

Below is the Scenario:

We are an online tutoring company provinding coaching through our website & we hv our own web Server. And our local office & the Datacentre (where the webserver is located) are at different places.

I have 2 leased lines in my office.

1st one is connecting to the internet & the other one is a point to point(PTP) link between our datacentre & local office.

We are able to connect to our datacentre. But the issue is, it is connecting through the Internet link instead of PTP link.

can anybody tell me how should I cnfigure my router so that whenever I connect to my datacentre the traffic will go through my PTP link ?

Waiting for valued responses.........

Thanks in advance

Subrat............

What make/model of router? Is the PTP link going through the router as well?

both end s0/1 is configured with private ip. & s0/0 with public ip.

when i try to ping private ip , it replies but when i tracert this ip it shows me 5 hops that mean it goes through the internet. & i need it to go through PTP link

Re: Need Help in Cisco..........

Have you added any static routes to the router for traffic to your datacentre?
