Need 2 Different TCP/IP settings - How?
When I am at work, I use wifi, and have to set my tcp/ip properties to use static addresses. I cannot obtain IP address or DNS Server addresses automatically. I have to put numbers in all 5 fields of tcp/ip properties. However, when I go home to use that wifi, I have to remove all the numbers from tcp/ip properties and set it to obtain the addresses automatically. Is there a way to set one tcp/ip properties for the work-wifi, another for the home-wifi? it it a pain to keep changing these settings manually every day. Thank you.

Re: Need 2 Different TCP/IP settings - How?
XP offers an Alternate Configuration option for that purpose. Enter the static addresses on the Alternate Configuration tab under TCP/IP properties of the wireless connection. This will do the trick automatically.
