Warcraft 3 Hosting at Rutgers University
I know this is quite a longshot, I'm just curious if anyone knows how to host at Rutgers, specifically. I have friends at various universities (Cornell, etc) that have no issues with hosting, yet here I cannot. I have set up port forwarding at home with ease, and can host there, but while in my dorm I cannot. Anyone ever do this before/know how?
Note - I do not know of the hardware the school uses. Note 2 - My firewall is turned off, and when I contacted Residential Networking they informed me that they do not allow port forwarding. Does that mean I'm SOL? Last edited by bballbt36; 02-28-2008 at 12:43 AM. |

Reread your Note 2.
 That's exactly what it means, their network most likely has restrictions in place to prevent this activity.
