OS: win xp, win2k server

Question IP blocking issue?

Hi all,

I have a WIN2K server running exchange 2000. Outlook web access used to work fine from the LAN as well as the Internet but somehow it has stopped working from WAN. No hardware setup has changed or software configuration. My feeling is something is wrong with resolving IP address or similar issue.

I will sincerely appreciate any help. Here is the architecture.

My domain xyz.com is registered with Register.com.

When I use remote desktop connection from WAN, it connects fine with my server Omega2 (192.168.0.2) which has DHCP enabled for LAN.

OWA used to work like http://xyz.com/exchange/username but now it has stopped. Within the LAN, http://Omega2/exchange/username still works though.

I have AT&T broadband. So their router (Netopia - 75.49.x.y) is directly connected to the Internet. Then I have a SonicWall firewall (TZ 170 Standard) behind it. Firewall's WAN address is 75.49.x.z and local address is 192.168.0.1 and DHCP is disabled on the firewall. All computers including Omega2 are behind the firewall. The Internet IP addresses are assigned to us as static IP addresses by AT&T.

I have proper entries at register.com about A, IP, MUX records for this domain. When I use www.hexillion.com to run service scan on xyz.com, it shows Omega2 is running Microsoft ESMTP on port 25.

When I do http://75.49.x.y it shows routers remote management console from both WAN and LAN. And as I said earlier, remote desktop connection works too.

Please help me out if you can.

Thank you.
