cloned mac address

Here is my problem.

I am running a linksys befsr41v3 router and a changed a UPnP setting and now it is not letting me log into the router to change it back (I am 110% certain that my username and password are correct). I am about to reset the router and wipe out all of the settings but I need to know what my cloned Mac address is.

I have tried pinging the router from the command prompt then using the arp -a command but this only returns the routers actual mac address not the cloned one.

So I guess what I am asking is does anyone know how I can find the WAN side cloned Mac address?

Since you cloned it from a machine in your network, simply go to that machine and do this:

Start, Run, CMD

IPCONFIG /ALL

The Physical Address: is the MAC address of that machine, which is what gets "cloned" to the WAN configuartion when you clone the address.

Ya that would have worked but the network was set up on an old computer that is no longer in use.

Are you sure you need the MAC address? I'd just contact the ISP and tell them that my old computer died and I need to register a new MAC address.

Figured out a way to find that cloned mac address. By plugging the WAN side of the cloned router into the LAN side of another router I was able to log into the working router and find the MAC address that the cloned one was sending to the working router.
