Need help with a Dlink-514

Hi, i need help with my router (dlink-514) i have password protected it but it seems that 1 or more people can hack into my router and connect to it makeing my internet laggy and slow, i really dont know how to use the settings so if anyone can help me with all the masures i should take to try and keep this person/people out of my router.

What do you mean "password protected"? If you've configured wireless security, you need to use WPA or better for "hackproof" security.

How about the make/model of the wireless computer you use.

It appears that the DI-514 only offers WEP, have you at least configured that: http://www.portforward.com/english/r...C/wireless.htm
