Laptop won't connect to internet
I accidently posted this in the wrong forum, so I'm posting it here now:
My home PC is always connected to the internet through a cable modem using an ethernet or usb cable. Sometimes I want to work on my laptop at the same place but whenever I connect it to the cable modem with the usb cable and/or ethernet cable, the internet does not work. Any help? Oh, this is my laptop: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/hp-c...-.html?tag=sub |

Re: Laptop won't connect to internet
Hi krim058, this is not a question about the laptop, but about your network layout. Your network (for multiple computers) should look like this.
Internet > Router > Switch/Hub (if not built into the router) > PCs When connecting multiple PCs, you CANNOT use USB directly into the modem. |
