Setting up a static IP address.
According to the portforward.com guide to setting up a static ip address, first, i'm supposed to open the command prompt and figure out my current ip settings.
But, when I open the command prompt window, and type "ipconfig/all" I get this error message. "ipconfig is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." I even get that message when entering "help". What's wrong with my computer? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: Setting up a static IP address.
The program is likely there but it seems like your PATH variable is screwed up. Check this link out:
Why don't my commands work? http://internet.cybermesa.com/~bstew...dprompt.html#6 This is usually caused by virus' and/or malware so a full system scan might be a good idea too :) |
