Router spontaneously died.

I am using a D-link DI-704UP wired router. I have three PCs connected to it and they were all working perfectly fine last night. I came home from school to find that my pc nor my brothers were connecting to the internet. So I went upstairs and to my sisters room where the router is and I unplugged it for 10 seconds, normally that fixes it, well it didn't. Then I thought maybe it needs to be reset, so I reset it, went onto the router config and I ran the setup wizard to get all the settings back, that didn't work. In the config it keeps saying PPPOE (which is the right setting, I made sure I had EVERYTHING correct) disconnected, so I try to hit "connect" but nothing happens. Just as a trial and error thing I hooked up the cable from the modem straight to my sisters PC and it worked so I ruled that out. On top of it all, I contacted D-Link tech support, they asked for my number then asked if I was a first time caller, yes, *click* They hung up. Great... I should have came to you fellow TSFers first, you're more reliable. Thanks in advanced!

Re: Router spontaneously died.

Well, sad to say, you'll probably have to deal with D-Link. From your description, it appears that the router indeed died.
