Cant connect to secure sites (logins) ip stuff up?

Okay hi all

The problem i am havin gis this, my bigpond liberty broadband connection (non-static IP) will every now and then stop working for secure sites, it almost always works for normal sites but when it stuffs up any secure site like banking or hotmail wont login, ive been able to temp this problem by uplugging my router (router isssues maybe?) and my modem turning it all off waiting 30seconds and pluggin it all back in and turning it all back on. now while this worksit is getting extremely annoying so any help would be much appreciated

There are 3 comps on the router 2 towers and a Lappy the towers are numbers 1&2 on the LAN ip (i think) and the lappy 3 it happens most often to the lappy and next most often to the 2nd tower, almost never too the 1st tower ( i don't know if this is relevant but meh)

Router & modem are netgear and motorolla respectively, ill try to get model and specs if you need them

scratch what i said up ther the LAN IPs are non-static as well
