Confused Resolved: problem retrieving data from wireless router

i am currently using a wireless netgear router to connect 2 laptops and one pc and let them online.however, since last week,i failed to online using my pc.it shows " limited connectivity" at the network panel.no data packs is received.meanwhile, i still can online using my laptop. so, what does "limited connectivity" actually mean? how can i solve this problem? does it has something to do with firewall problem?

Re: problem retrieving data from wireless router

Limited Connectivity means it sees the connection, eliminating that it is the cable itself.

You are most likely getting this error from bad TCP/IP settings..

Open Up Network Connections. Right click on the Local Area Connection and select Repair.

If this does not work, Right click on Local Area Connection and Select Properties. Select TCP/IP v4 and Click on Properties. Verify that Obtain IP Address Automatically is selected and click OK on each dialog box. Repair the connection again and you should be online.

Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Windows XP with SP2.

For these commands, Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt.

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ip reset reset.log

Reboot the machine.
