Remote Access help PLEASE

I hope this is do-able. I'm using WinXP Pro on both my work & home pc's. I've installed Radmin server software on both computers, and I really need to access my work pc from home and vice versa. Here's the dilemma:

My home pc is hooked to one router, a Linksys WRT54GS.
My work pc is behind two routers, a D-Link DI-524 which is behind a Linksys BEFSR41.

Does anyone know how I can configure this to work??? I've tried opening port 4489 on all the routers, but that didn't work.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Remote Access help PLEASE

You need to put the secondary router at work in the DMZ of the primary router. This will allow you to ignore the first router for port forwarding and you'll probably have more luck.

Re: Remote Access help PLEASE

The most simple solution would be to get Hamachi and set up a network between your home and work computers.
I'll vouch for it and say it couldn't be more simple. Basically a free minimal configuration VPN.

Otherwise at your home you'll have to forward port 4489 to your computer's interal IP, and at work forward the port first to the second router's IP then from the second router to your work computer's IP.
Even then it's still a bit sketchy; I haven't had much luck with multiple routers/double NAT.

Maybe a quirk of some of the routers I've delt with?

Re: Remote Access help PLEASE

You keep missing my point. If you put the secondary router in the DMZ, you don't have to deal with port forwarding on the primary router, all the ports are transparent to the secondary router.
