Well, what do you mean "it connects to it fine"? Can you access the router's setup pages using that connection? How about doing this?

For 98 or ME, Start, Run, COMMAND to open a DOS window:
--- or ---
For 2K or XP, Start, Run, CMD to open a DOS window:

Type the following command:

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

There's no space between / and ALL on the IPCONFIG line. Try that one again.

Turn off encryption and see if you can connect. If so, you have a problem with the encryption settings. Make sure you do NOT use 802.1x Authentication on the WPA connection.

It's in the router's configuration. Your router's configuration pages are accessed using the IP address of 192.168.0.1. Look for wireless configuration pages, encryption will be there.
