wireless connection dropping out

Hey folks1
Here is a baffling question that i have for you.

I have an IBM thinkpad R51. I installed XP pro in it and have intel
wirless driver working 2200BG. the problem is that whenever i need to
make a call through my landline, the connection goes off. Is this
something to do with the wireless settings?

Are you using DSL or Cable?

I'm guessing you either have DSL and the filters are not correctly installed, or you use a 2.4ghz wireless phone that is interfering with your wireless connection.

Am I getting warm?
