Complicated network problem.
I want to share my internet connection to a laptop via my wireless card.
my computer has two NIC's (a normal ethernet adapter and the wireless card) The normal ethernet adapter is connected to a D-link 604 4 port router. (all of the 4 ports are occupied by other pc's in my house). There are all kinds of IP conflicts and whatnot going on and I don't understand why. When I try and enable ICS on the ethernet card it tells me the IP is already being used (I went through the trouble to give everything a unique ip address by the way) am i negelecting a special setting or step? help me. here is a picture of the setup.

Don't you need the wireless ethernet adapter going into your laptop as well, not the wireless card?
I am not really too sure... |

You do realize that a switch that will cost about $15 shipped to your door will solve the full port issue with the router, right? http://www.gearxs.com/gearxs/advance...ords=DSS-5PLUS
I'd simply replace the router with a wireless model, you'll be far happier with the results and the performance.
