Linksys Wireless Router - WRT54GX2

It seems to happen about every other day but I can't seem to connect into the router to use the internet even though the day before everything worked perfectly. If I connect my laptop directly to the DSL modem it will then work fine. After that I re-connect the DSL back into the router and it works again. On the other days it works perfectly without taking the extra steps.

Anyone have this same issue and how do you solve this problem? Sure is a pain to have to go thru this every few days. All help is appreciated.

Just curious, are you leaving the power on to the adsl modem and router? Do you live in a area with power fluctuations?

Instead of connecting/reconnecting the cables, just try restarting the modem, and then the router after the modems lights stablize.

Also, you might want to check and see if there is a firmware upgrade for your router.

Just a few things to try.
